Brian’s love affair with guitar began at age 11. He graduated from the University of Maine, studying classical guitar - with a little jazz thrown in for fun.
Playing Rock gigs throughout New England for the past 35 years, he shared the stage with various national musicians. This included Howard Johnson (former Saturday Night Live band leader), John Cafferty with his Beaver Brown Band, and Kiss’s Ace Frehley.
Brian’s teaching career began in 1987 at the Northern Conservatory of Music in Bangor, Maine. After moving to New Hampshire, he taught at Daddy’s Junky Music, the Music Workshop, and best of all Mojo’s Music!
He’s taught virtually every style of music - from classical to rock, finger style to modern country. He’s had helped many musicians (guitarists, bassists, vocalists, and drummers) prepare for music school auditions, working on music theory and ear training.
